Job summary

Nscale is looking for a hands-on People Operations leader for the Nordic hub, with a global remit to build scalable foundations and align local needs with our worldwide people processes.

You’ll partner with Payroll, drive time and attendance stabilization, lead system introductions (e.g., Workday), ensure Norwegian compliance, and shape processes that scale as Nscale grows across Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in People Operations or HR, in fast-growing tech or startup environments.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian employment law and Nordic regulations.
• Fluent Norwegian with a pragmatic start-up mindset.
• Experience collaborating with Payroll on time and attendance processes.

Responsibilities

• Time & Attendance: diagnose and fix issues, stabilize processes with payroll teams.
• Systems Implementation: lead introduction of new People systems (e.g., Workday).
• Managing employee lifecycle in line with local compliance and global processes.
• Employee Relations: support ER while the function is being built.
• Statutory Reporting: manage NAV and other Norwegian reporting requirements.
• Nordics & Global Scope: act as on-the-ground owner for Nordic, contribute globally.
• Hands-On Foundation Building: handle day-to-day admin not yet automated.
• Project Involvement: participate in cross-functional People projects to scale.
