Job summary

FlexiRemote Solutions is seeking a Hotel Sales Manager in Alta, Norway to promote and sell the hotel's services to individual travelers, groups and corporate clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in hotel sales and hospitality with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Job Title: Hotel Sales Manager

The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling the hotel's services and facilities to potential clients, including individual travelers, groups, and corporate clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales and hospitality, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other methods
• Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure their continued business
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competition, and customer needs
• Coordinate with other departments (such as marketing and operations) to create attractive packages and promotions for potential clients
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, conferences, and other events to showcase its services
• Prepare sales reports and presentations for management review
• Train and supervise the hotel's sales team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (Hospitality Management preferred)
• Proven experience in hotel sales or a similar role (at least 3 years)
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Familiarity with sales techniques such as cold calling, networking, etc.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Willingness to travel for business purposes as needed
