Job summary

Blue Moon Metals Inc. seeks a Mine Geologist to lead underground geology activities, plan and schedule in‑mine work, and support resource extraction with accurate grade control.

The role requires collaboration with mine planning, drill contractors, and the technical team to ensure safe, efficient operations and robust QA/QC processes. Requirements include a geology degree (Master's preferred), 6+ years in underground non‑ferrous metals production, strong leadership, and proficiency in 3D

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology; master's preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in underground non-ferrous metals production.
• Experience managing diamond drilling contractors.
• Strong knowledge of grade control, sampling, reconciliation, and mapping.
• Fluent in English; Norwegian or Swedish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee underground geology planning and scheduling to meet business plans safely.
• Collaborate with mine planning, contractors, and surveyors to optimize extraction.
• Monitor stope drawings and waste development to maintain cut-off grades.
• Develop sampling methods to determine ore grade and minimize dilution.
• Maintain production data, monthly reconciliations, and management reports.
• Mentor and develop the team; support monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
• Oversee grade control processes and geological models.
