Job summary

DNO in Stavanger, Norway, is seeking an IT Support Engineer to be the first stop for IT support across the company. You will work with the infrastructure team to keep hybrid servers and networks running smoothly.

The role emphasizes service-mindedness, problem solving, and a willingness to learn new technologies, including Microsoft 365 and AI.

You will handle incidents, set up devices, maintain systems, and contribute to knowledge base while collaborating with colleagues.

Qualifications

• IT-related education or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years in IT support with focus on end-user support, server and network management.
• Keep up to date with Microsoft 365, AI and related technologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles is an advantage.
• Hands-on and adaptable, able to support colleagues and cover tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle incidents and service requests from users, from first contact to resolution.
• Set up, configure and maintain client devices, user accounts and access rights.
• Assist with routine maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of servers, network and systems.
• Document solutions and contribute to improving our routines and knowledge base.
• Collaborate with the IT team to improve our services.
• Keep up to date with developments in Microsoft 365, AI and related technologies.
