Job summary

Mintra is seeking an IT Manager to lead a small IT support team and oversee IT projects across hybrid offices. The role combines hands-on technical work with people leadership, policy enforcement, and strategic planning to align IT with business goals.

Based near one of our UK offices, you will manage VMware, AWS/Azure environments, ensure security and continuity, monitor SLAs, and deliver IT services within budget and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience with network configuration and maintenance.
• Experience with VMware, AWS and Azure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT support team, hiring and mentoring staff.
• Drive service improvements; monitor SLAs and performance.
• Lead IT projects to meet timelines and budgets.
• Advise on complex technical issues and security.
• Enforce IT policies and security compliance.
• Manage VMware, AWS and Azure environments.
• Handle procurement and deployment of IT equipment.
• Provide desktop/laptop configuration and support.
• Perform site visits to regional offices.
