Job summary

Six Robotics is seeking a hands-on Head of IT to lead a small internal IT team and own end-to-end IT operations from day-to-day support to strategic improvements. You will shape the IT strategy and budget in collaboration with the CTO, drive security and compliance across the organization, and maintain core infrastructure while enabling scalable, secure connectivity for a growing team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT operations or IT management roles.
• Strong understanding of networking, endpoint management, and operating systems (Linux and Windows).
• Experience administering Microsoft and Google platforms securely.
• Solid knowledge of security, identity, and access management.
• ISO/compliance requirements experience.

Responsibilities

• Own internal IT end-to-end: day-to-day support to long-term improvements across systems, devices, and tools.
• Own IT strategy and budget: set priorities and lead procurement with the CTO.
• Drive security and compliance in practice: translate requirements into technical controls and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Maintain core infrastructure: manage servers, storage, virtualization, backups, and monitoring.
• Manage identity, access, and endpoints: onboarding/offboarding and configurations across Windows and Linux.
• Enable secure connectivity: own the company network infrastructure for stable access.
• Administer and evolve internal platforms: oversee Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, and related services.
• Build a scalable IT foundation: establish docs, routines, and standards for growth.
