Job summary

BrightMark GmbH in Alta, Norway seeks an experienced IT Manager to oversee our technology infrastructure, lead a team of IT professionals, and ensure reliable operations across hardware, software, and networks.

You will develop strategies, manage vendor relationships, and provide end-user support while staying current with new technologies. A bachelor’s degree and at least five years in IT leadership are required; visa sponsorship is available.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee our companys technology infrastructure and ensure its smooth operation. In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals implementing and maintaining hardware and software systems and providing technical support to our employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of IT professionals including hiring training and performance evaluations
• Develop and implement technology strategies to align with company goals
• Ensure the security and integrity of our data and systems
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Oversee the installation maintenance and upgrading of hardware and software systems
• Provide technical support to employees on hardware software and network issues
• Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors for IT services
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and make recommendations for their implementation

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
• Excellent knowledge of networking technologies such as LANWAN VPNs firewalls etc
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C++
• Experience with project management methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Location Alta Norway open to all nationalities

Salary $1300month negotiable based on experience
