Job summary

Dovre Solutions AS is seeking a Senior Discipline Responsible Engineer (Senior DRE) to lead discipline engineering activities for offshore projects in Stavanger. The role ensures work is performed to plan, and changes are captured in the change control system.

Candidates should have a Bachelor or Master degree (or 10–15 years of relevant experience), 10+ years in Oil & Gas engineering, and fluency in Norwegian and English. Offshore installation knowledge and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree.
• If no degree, 10-15 years of relevant work experience.
• More than 10 years experience in engineering within the Oil&Gas industry.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards such as NORSOK, PTIL and API.
• Excellent Norwegian and English writing & speaking skills.
• High degree of self-learning and good communication.
• Ability to understand P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines.
• Discussions with Client and vendor representatives to find optimal solutions.

Responsibilities

• Produce/understand new documentation and drawings such as P&ID, SCD diagrams, loop drawings for process, Fire&G as and safety systems; IS Loop Calculations.
• Revise existing documentation and drawings.
• Discipline check and approval of produced documents and drawings in the project.
• Order all instrument materials needed for offshore installation.
• Must be able to understand P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines.
• Discussions with Client and vendor representatives to find optimal technical solutions.

Function

Senior Discipline Responsible Engineer (Senior DRE) is responsible for discipline engineering activities. The Senior DRE shall ensure that the work within the discipline is carried out according to plan and that progress is reported. The Senior DRE shall ensure that potential changes/deviations are identified and logged in accordance with project change control system.

• Produce/understand new documentation and drawings such as Cauce&Effect, System Control Diagrams (SCD) diagrams, loop drawings for process, Fire&Gas and safety systems; IS Loop Calculations.
• Revise existing documentation and drawings.
• Discipline check and approval of produced documents and drawings in the project.
• Order all instrument materials needed for offshore installation.
• Must be able to understand P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines.
• Discussions with Client and vendor representatives in order to find optimal technical solutions.

Requirements

Required Education:

• Bachelor or Master degree
• Lack of education requires 10-15 years of relevant work experience

Required Work Experience

• More than 10 years experience in engineering within the Oil&Gas industry.

Required Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as NORSOK, PTIL and API standards
• High degree of self learning skills
• Good communication
• Excellent Norwegian and English writing & speaking skills
• Knowledge of modifications on offshore installations when in operation

Required Certificates

• Grunnleggende EX kurs, enten 22,5 timer i klasserom eller 6-8 timer online FSE høy og lavtspent med førstehjelp
