Nexans is seeking an Engineering Manager – Projects to lead technical delivery across complex offshore and energy projects. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage interfaces with manufacturing, procurement and clients, and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.

The role reports to the Engineering Management leadership and is based in Halden or Oslo, with flexibility for partial home office.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5-10 years experience managing engineering activities in complex project environments, preferably offshore, energy, infrastructure, marine, or industrial projects.
• Experience with project execution models, contract management, risk management, technical documentation, and engineering quality standards.
• Ability to manage technical stakeholders, coordinate cross-functional teams, and lead engineering activities within budget and schedule constraints.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the technical lead and primary engineering contact for assigned projects, ensuring successful system delivery throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Manage technical interfaces across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, installation teams, suppliers, and clients to optimize the solution.
• Support project execution from tender phase through establishment, engineering execution, risk management, change management, installation support, and close-out.
• Provide leadership to project teams by allocating resources, promoting collaboration, and fostering a strong QHSE culture.
