Xapien is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead one of our engineering teams, focusing on people development, delivery cadence, and engineering excellence. As the second EM hire, you'll embed effective management practices across the organisation, ensuring your team delivers high‑quality software while working closely with Product, QA, Research and Design.

Qualifications

• 2+ years engineering management in a scale‑up or high‑growth environment.
• Proven track record of improving team delivery cadence and reducing quality issues.
• Experience working in cross‑functional product teams with Product, Design, and QA.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
• Own your team's delivery, ensuring consistent, predictable output; collaborate with Product, QA and Research.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery cadence and quality; embed scalable engineering processes.
• Contribute to technical scoping and design without hands‑on coding; communicate trade‑offs clearly.
• Cross‑functionally collaborate with Product, Design and leadership to align on roadmap and priorities.
