Job summary

Enode is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the team building the software layer that connects EVs, chargers, solar, and batteries, enabling customers to optimize across fleets of homes and within each home. You will redesign for speed, reliability, and broader coverage, evolving from controlling individual devices to optimizing the entire home, driveway included.

AI is raising the bar for engineering leadership, and we need someone who leads people and sets a high standard.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing engineers.
• Strong values and integrity.
• Driven with high goals and a high bar for yourself and others.
• Experience leading remote, distributed teams.
• Built AI products that contributed to team success.
• Ability to work with stakeholders in the room and get alignment.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's technical vision end to end and partner with product to build an ambitious roadmap.
• Define what great looks like and drive teams toward it.
• Shape strategy with the CTO and define roadmap for an evolving business area.
• Be part of engineering leadership and influence beyond your team.
• Lead AI adoption to change how we build, ship and operate.
