Job summary

WisdomTree is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer in London to provide hands-on end-user support in a fast-paced financial services environment. You will be the first point of contact for issues, working with another engineer to deliver daily IT support while contributing to infrastructure projects.

Key tasks include onboarding/offboarding, software rollouts, app configuration, and promoting cybersecurity best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

1–2 years in a desktop support or IT support role.
Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and macOS.
Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
Familiarity with endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong problem-solving ability and a methodical approach to troubleshooting
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple support requests

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on first and second line support for end users across Windows and macOS devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Microsoft 365 and desktop applications.
Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including account creation and hardware provisioning.
Deploy, configure and maintain software and user applications.
Support physical desktop, laptop and peripherals setup.
Assist with meeting room AV and video conferencing tech.
Support networking configuration and troubleshooting.
Manage third-party vendor relationships and escalations.
Maintain licence tracking, renewals and IT procurement.
Train users on technology best practices and productivity tools.
Contribute to infrastructure projects and technology rollouts.
