Job summary

Nscale in Stavanger, Norway seeks a Datacenter Security Manager to lead daily physical security operations for the data centre. You will manage the Securitas contract, oversee reception and visitor processes, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards to safeguard staff, visitors, and customer data.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with data centres or critical infrastructure, and the ability to coordinate with emergency services and security vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contract security teams.
• Experience within data centres or critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of physical security systems.
• Experience managing visitors and customer security requirements.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Experience supervising reception operations.
• Security auditing experience.
• ISO 27001 or SOC 2 knowledge.
• Experience supporting government or hyperscale customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Site Security Management: Manage all physical security operations at DC and ensure security standards are maintained.
• Contract Management: Oversee the Securitas security contract and supervise daily performance of security officers.
• Reception Operations: Ensure reception operates professionally and securely and manage visitor registration and identity verification.
• Visitor Management: Coordinate secure customer visits and contractor access; support VIP visits and government delegations.
• Physical Security: Maintain CCTV, access control and intrusion detection; perform security inspections and coordinate remedial actions.
• Security Operations: Coordinate responses to on-site incidents and liaise with emergency services; conduct investigations.
• Compliance: Support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits; maintain site security documentation and support customer audits.
