Job summary

Nscale in Sauda, Norway, seeks a Site Security Manager to oversee daily physical security operations at the data centre, ensuring CCTV, access control and patrols meet our standards while staff, contractors and visitors are kept safe.

You will manage the Securitas contract, supervise security officers, coordinate visitor registration and support audits such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2, contributing to a secure, compliant environment for a growing AI cloud platform.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contract security teams.
• Experience within data centres or critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of physical security systems.
• Experience managing visitors and customer security requirements.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Security auditing experience.
• ISO 27001 or SOC 2 knowledge.
• Experience supporting government or hyperscale customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Site Security Management: Manage all physical security operations at the data centre; ensure security standards are consistently maintained; conduct routine inspections of security controls; ensure compliance with site procedures.
• Contract Management: Manage the Securitas security contract; supervise daily performance of security officers; conduct performance reviews and service meetings; ensure contractual service levels are achieved.
• Reception Operations: Ensure reception operates professionally and securely; oversee visitor registration and identity verification; ensure visitor escorts are available where required; maintain visitor records.
• Visitor Management: Coordinate customer visits and contractor access; support VIP visits and government delegations; maintain visitor records.
• Physical Security: Ensure CCTV, access control and intrusion detection systems remain operational; conduct physical security inspections; report defects and coordinate remedial actions.
• Security Operations: Coordinate responses to on-site security incidents; liaise with emergency services; conduct investigations into physical security events.
• Compliance: Support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits; maintain site security documentation; support customer security audits; ensure compliance with customer physical security standards.
