Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Site Security Manager to run daily physical security operations at the Data Centre. You will oversee reception security, access control, CCTV, visitor management, and contractor oversight to maintain a secure environment for staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contract security teams.
• Experience within data centres or critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection).
• Experience managing visitors and customer security requirements.
• ISO 27001 or SOC 2 knowledge.
• Experience supporting government or hyperscale environments.

Responsibilities

• Site Security Management: oversee all physical security operations at the data centre and ensure standards.
• Contract Management: manage the Securitas security contract and supervise officers.
• Reception Operations: ensure reception runs professionally with visitor registration and identity checks.
• Visitor Management: coordinate secure customer visits and contractor access per procedures.
• Physical Security: maintain CCTV, access controls, and perimeter security; report defects.
• Security Operations: coordinate responses to incidents and liaise with emergency services.
• Compliance: support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits and maintain security documentation.
