Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Site Security Manager to oversee daily physical security operations at the data centre. You will manage reception security, access control, visitor management, and coordinate with Securitas to meet Nscale standards.

Lead contract management, inspections, incident responses, and audits (ISO 27001/SOC 2). You’ll collaborate with Facilities, Compliance, and Information Security to maintain a secure, compliant environment and support customer security requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contract security teams.
• Experience within data centres or critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of physical security systems and controls.
• Experience supervising reception operations.
• ISO 27001 or SOC 2 knowledge.
• Experience supporting government or hyperscale customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage all physical security operations at DC.
• Ensure security standards are consistently maintained.
• Conduct routine inspections of security controls.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures.
• Manage the Securitas security contract.
• Supervise daily performance of security officers.
• Conduct performance reviews and service meetings.
• Ensure contractual service levels are achieved.
• Oversee visitor registration and identity verification.
• Maintain visitor records.
• Coordinate responses to on-site security incidents.
• Liaise with emergency services.
• Conduct investigations into physical security events.
• Support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits.
• Maintain site security documentation.
• Support customer security audits.
• Ensure compliance with customer physical security standards.
