Job summary

The Nscale site at Glomfjord is seeking a Site Security Manager to oversee daily security operations, reception, access control and incident response. You will ensure Securitas services meet Nscale standards and maintain a secure environment for staff, contractors and visitors.

Lead CCTV, perimeter security, visitor management and contract performance, coordinate with emergency services and audits (ISO 27001 / SOC 2). Strong leadership and governance mindset required.

About The Role

The Site Security Manager is responsible for the daily management of all physical security operations at the Glomfjord Data Centre. The role ensures that security services delivered by Securitas meet Nscale standards while maintaining a secure environment for staff, contractors, visitors and customers. The Site Security Manager oversees reception security, visitor management, access control, security patrols and operational readiness while acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day site security matters.

Responsibilities

• Site Security Management
  • Manage all physical security operations at Glomfjord.
  • Ensure security standards are consistently maintained.
  • Conduct routine inspections of security controls.
  • Ensure compliance with site procedures.
• Contract Management
  • Manage the Securitas security contract.
  • Supervise daily performance of security officers.
  • Conduct performance reviews and service meetings.
  • Ensure contractual service levels are achieved.
• Reception Operations
  • Ensure reception operates professionally and securely.
  • Oversee visitor registration and identity verification.
  • Ensure visitor escorts are available where required.
  • Maintain visitor records.
• Visitor Management
  • Manage all daytime visitor activity.
  • Ensure customer visits are coordinated securely.
  • Ensure contractor access follows approved procedures.
  • Support VIP visits and government delegations.
• Physical Security
  • Ensure CCTV, access control and intrusion detection systems remain operational.
  • Conduct physical security inspections.
  • Report defects and coordinate remedial actions.
