Job summary

Strawberry is seeking a Conference Staff Member to join our team at The Edge Hotel in Tromsø. You are the go-to person who ensures guests have a flawless experience from the first cup of coffee to the final presentation.

As the face of our meeting rooms, you’ll welcome guests, prep rooms, provide tech support, coordinate with hotel teams, and help meetings run smoothly. English fluency is essential; Norwegian is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; Norwegian is a plus.
• Experience in events, hotels, or restaurants is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and providing info for a flawless first impression.
• Prepping conference rooms with furniture, snacks and technology ready.
• Technical support for device connections; ensure Wi‑Fi, projectors, webcams and mics work.
• Manage event flow and quickly resolve issues so meetings run smoothly.
• Coordinate with hotel teams to keep schedules and maintain service levels.
• Multitask across meetings, taking responsibility and staying proactive.
• Move furniture and receive deliveries as needed.
