Job summary

Strawberry is hiring a Conference Staff Member for The Edge Hotel in Tromsø. You are the face of our meeting rooms and ensure guests have a flawless experience from the first coffee to the final presentation.

You will welcome guests, prep rooms, provide tech support for Wi‑Fi, projectors and AV, coordinate with other hotel teams, and help manage multiple meetings. Fluency in English is required; Norwegian is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in events, hotels or restaurants.
• Background in tech or AV support.
• Fluent in English; Norwegian is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and providing information.
• Prepping rooms with furniture, snacks and tech.
• Technical support for devices, Wi‑Fi, projectors, webcams and mics.
• Manage event flow and solve problems quickly.
• Coordinate with other hotel teams to keep schedules.
• Move furniture and receive deliveries.
