Job summary

Strawberry's The Edge Hotel in Tromsø is seeking a Conference Staff Member to ensure flawless guest experiences from the first coffee to the final presentation. You are the face of our meeting rooms and the Meeting & Events department.

You’ll welcome guests, prep rooms, provide tech support for Wi-Fi, projectors, and audio, coordinate with other hotel teams, and multitask across multiple meetings while maintaining high service standards. Fluency in English is required; Norwegian is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; Norwegian are a plus for local guests.
• Comfortable with tech and able to troubleshoot devices.
• Strong customer-service mindset with teamwork focus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide information with a smile.
• Prepare rooms, arrange furniture, snacks, and tech.
• Provide technical support for Wi‑Fi, projectors, webcams, and mics.
• Support smooth event flow and quick problem solving.
• Coordinate with hotel teams to keep meetings on schedule.
