Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Norway is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer - AI-First to join an autonomous team focused on transforming complex global work compliance into automated technology. You will work across backend Java/Spring Boot and frontend Angular/TypeScript in a cloud-based environment.

You will use AI coding agents to accelerate development while upholding strong architectural judgement, code review, and security practices. This is a fully remote opportunity emphasizing autonomy and impact.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong backend experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Strong frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript.
Experience using AI coding assistants or agentic development workflows.
Strong focus on secure software development and modern security practices.

Responsibilities

Own product development within an autonomous engineering team.
Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java/Spring Boot and Angular/TypeScript.
Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and delivery.
Critically review AI-generated code for functionality, architecture, and security.
Take end-to-end ownership of software delivery from design to deployment in the cloud.
Collaborate with teammates to balance frontend and backend priorities by product impact.
Contribute to a results-oriented, autonomous engineering culture.
