NOV Process & Flow Technologies AS is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Agentic AI to join the Global Engineering Disciplines team. Based flexibly near our Fornebu offices, you will drive intelligent autonomous agents to automate engineering, operational, and business workflows across energy, industrial, and offshore solutions.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience.
2+ years developing AI/ML in production, including LLM-powered solutions.
Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or comparable LLM platforms.
Proficiency in Python and modern software architecture/design patterns.
Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
Proficiency with vector databases and RAG systems.
Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience integrating AI into enterprise environments and building APIs/microservices.
Preferred: industrial/energy/offshore/process-systems domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

Design autonomous AI agents capable of multi-step reasoning and human-in-the-loop support.
Develop scalable AI services using frameworks and APIs.
Build RAG pipelines and vector-database knowledge management.
Integrate AI agents with ERP/CRM and data platforms.
Create production-grade software using Python, TS/JS, FastAPI, Docker, Kubernetes.
Implement testing, monitoring, observability, and security for AI workloads.
Establish AI governance, safety controls, and compliance.
Prototype emerging AI technologies and collaborate with stakeholders.
