The role focuses on AI-powered testing and intelligent automation, designing, building, and operating agents that support test design, execution, maintenance, evaluation, and failure triage. You will own the testing infrastructure, environments, data, tool interfaces, guardrails, runtime management, and cost controls, while collaborating with product teams to ensure testing tools remain relevant and effective across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, shipping production software.
• Hands-on experience building and owning test infrastructure and developer tooling.
• Practical experience with LLMs or agent frameworks, including prompt design and evaluation.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and CI at scale.
• Ability to influence engineering teams and drive adoption of tooling across teams.
• Ability to understand product deeply to build quality solutions.
• Strong engineering judgment balancing quality and delivery speed.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate AI agents across the testing lifecycle, including design, generation, maintenance, execution, and triage.
• Own infrastructure to make agent-driven testing dependable (environments, data, interfaces, guardrails, runtime, cost).
• Establish reliable methods for evaluating agent outputs to trust automated results.
• Apply AI-driven evaluation to testing non-deterministic and AI-powered capabilities.
• Collaborate with product engineering to keep testing tools relevant to features.
• Develop reusable testing patterns and enablement practices for engineers to own quality.
• Drive adoption of quality engineering across teams.
• Contribute to system design and continuous improvement of testing infrastructure.
