Qualifications

Location: Hoofddorp, The Netherlands | Position Type: Full-time | Salary: €3,700 – €4,400 per month (depending on experience)

• Morning Shift: 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Are you a proven logistics leader with an international mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for an ambitious Warehouse Supervisor to step up, lead from the front, and drive operational excellence at our high-tech facility in Hoofddorp.

About the Role

In this pivotal international role, you take full ownership of daily warehouse operations while leading, inspiring, and coaching a dedicated team of 25 to 35 employees. You bridge the gap between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.

By applying continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen and 5S, you will optimize workflows, boost team efficiency, and act as the primary backup for the Shift/Warehouse Manager when needed.

This position operates on a full-time, rotating two-shift schedule designed to ensure continuous operational flow. Flexibility is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development: Direct and motivate your team of 25–35 employees. Conduct Performance Management Plans (PMPs), manage absenteeism, host structured check-ins, and identify training needs to help your team grow.
• Operational Excellence: Coordinate shift operations in alignment with forecasts, KPIs, and targets. Step in as acting Shift/Warehouse Manager during their absence.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement process optimizations using Kaizen, 5S, and strict QEHS standards to continuously refine warehouse workflows.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor daily KPIs, productivity metrics, and quality output. Oversee strict execution of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) and 5C principles.
• Cross-Departmental Synergy: Collaborate closely with internal logistics departments and international stakeholders to eliminate IT or operational bottlenecks swiftly and effectively.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 5 to 6 years in a warehouse/logistics environment, with a proven track record in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Systems & Process Mastery: Strong hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and modern logistics software. You think in systems, structured processes, and measurable outputs.
• Languages: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for this international environment.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities, strong problem‑solving skills, and solid financial insight regarding labor planning.
• Flexibility: Full commitment to working in a rotating two‑shift pattern, including weekends and public holidays.
