The role emphasizes day-shift leadership, overseeing a team of supervisors and team leads, and driving continuous process optimization to deliver reliable daily operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a similar 3PL warehousing leadership role, strong WMS and KPI analytics, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a similar role, preferably within a 3PL warehousing environment.
• Strong personality, adaptable to change, with a track record of driving teams and processes to excel.
• Solid expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), KPI management, data reporting, and management metrics.
• Strong proficiency in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Ensure uninterrupted execution of inbound, storage, VAS, and outbound processes; address variances with supervisors and team leads.
• Capacity & Workload Planning: Forecast workload and optimize staffing with the Resource Planner.
• Process Improvement & Projects: Initiate continuous improvement initiatives and participate in logistics optimization projects.
• KPIs & Management Reporting: Monitor and deliver MI based on targets and KPIs.
• People & Leadership: Coach and mentor the team; conduct meetings and performance reviews.
• Quality & Safety: Enforce safety standards for machinery and goods handling.

Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager looking for a key leadership role within a dynamic and expanding 3PL environment? Our client—a leading international logistics service provider—is offering an exciting opportunity at their facility in Tholen, Netherlands. In this role, working day shifts, you will oversee the complete operation for one of the site's largest accounts, take ownership of team development, and drive continuous process optimization.

What will you do?

As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient daily logistics operations, including inbound, storage, outbound, and Value-Added Services (VAS). You look beyond daily operational fire-fighting and understand that a strong operation relies on engaged employees, clear structures, and tight scheduling.

• Operational Management: Ensure the uninterrupted execution of all inbound, storage, VAS, and outbound processes. Identify operational variances, address them constructively in meetings with your 2 Supervisors and 6 Team Leads, and implement effective solutions.
• Capacity & Workload Planning: Forecast expected workload based on daily, weekly, and monthly customer data, ensuring an optimal staffing structure in close collaboration with the Resource Planner.
• Process Improvement & Projects: Initiate continuous improvement initiatives (both physical and administrative), provide strategic input to the Operations Manager, and actively participate in logistics optimization projects.
• KPIs & Management Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and deliver comprehensive management information based on agreed targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• People & Leadership: Coach, mentor, and inspire your team. Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, manage absenteeism, and facilitate professional training programs.
• Quality & Safety: Enforce strict safety standards regarding the use of machinery, equipment, material handling vehicles, and goods handling.
