We have a great opportunity for a talented individual to join our warehouse in the Flevoland Lelystad/Dronten area as a Warehouse Operations Manager. You will lead an operations team of shift managers, supervisors, and office staff, ensuring the delivery of objectives across the site and personnel management. You will support the domestic network, collaborating with other warehouses to excel in service, minimize costs, and reduce risks. Your role involves managing warehouse functions related to transport, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring customer requirements are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

Your Responsibilities

1. Support operations through counseling, coaching, and employee development.
2. Ensure effective communication within warehouse teams via meetings, briefings, and shift management.
3. Drive positive change and foster a culture aligned with the company's values.
4. Be accountable for operational excellence, quality, cost, and service.
5. Oversee overall productivity, ensuring activities are cost-effective and resources are properly managed.
6. Plan and coordinate operational activities through shift managers to meet service levels.
7. Manage customer service at all required levels.
8. Ensure delivery and continuous improvement of operational KPIs to maximize efficiency.
9. Manage the warehouse budget and control costs.
10. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and manage controllable costs.
11. Ensure proper maintenance of facilities within budget.
12. Lead environmental, health, and safety activities to ensure compliance with regulations.

Who You Are

1. Experience in a managerial role is essential.
2. A background in engineering or consultancy is advantageous.
