Job summary

GXO is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to plan and lead weekly workload, set priorities, and drive performance against KPIs within a high-volume warehouse environment.

You will coach Team Leaders and Supervisors, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions while promoting lean principles and safety culture across operations in an international setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ warehouse/operations management experience.
• Experience with performance, case and absence management.
• Experience with coaching conversations and developing teams in a high-volume operational environment.
• Strong communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to motivate teams and collaborate in an international environment.
• Proactive, resilient and results-driven.
• Ability to take ownership, work under pressure and deliver high-quality service.
• Strong analytical, financial and reporting skills.
• Broad technical insight and willingness to continuously develop.
• Experience with LEAN, 5S or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement using LEAN principles and GXO Warehousing System practices.
• Coordinate workload planning, staffing levels and shift support.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, legal requirements and GXO policies.
• Promote a safety-first culture.
• Maintain accurate operational reporting and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and engage with the customer on daily operational topics.
• Contribute to sustainability and efficiency initiatives.
• Report directly to the Operations Manager and align on priorities and performance follow-up.

• (Pre) Bachelor’s degree in logistics, engineering, operations or business
• 7+ years’ warehouse/operations management experience
• Proven leadership and people-management skills
• Experience with performance, case and absence management
• Experience with coaching conversations and developing teams in a high-volume operational environment
• Strong communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus
