Job summary

Dott is seeking a Trust & Safety Lead to own a high-impact, in-house team protecting riders, partners, and the business. You will drive incident response, build scalable processes, and partner with Legal, Data, and Ops to reduce risk and costs.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will design metrics, oversee insurance workflows, and ensure GDPR timelines are met while mentoring a small team in a dynamic, hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a trust & safety or incident-management team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong GDPR knowledge and data-protection experience with timely DSAR handling.
• Familiarity with insurance claims processes and working with brokers and legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Trust & Safety team, setting priorities and growth plans.
• Act as the first escalation point for urgent and sensitive Trust & Safety cases.
• Build and own operational metrics, processes, and workflows for continuous improvement.
• Oversee insurance and claims management with brokers and partners to reduce liability and costs.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and timely handling of DSARs within deadlines.
• Collaborate with Legal, Ops, Public Policy, Data, and Tech to improve tools and cross-functional response.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders on accident and insurance reporting.
