Job summary

Eight Advisory UK Limited in Amsterdam seeks a Senior Manager for our Transaction Services & Restructuring team. You will lead financial due diligence engagements, identify key business drivers, and deliver reports and presentations to clients.

You will manage engagement teams and support business development across cross-border assignments. The role requires a Master’s degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience, fluent Dutch and English, and strong analytical and reporting skills.

Job description

We are currently looking for an ambitious and diligent individual to join our Transaction Services & Restructuring team in Amsterdam as a Senior Manager. In this role, you will work with senior experts in the field of transformation, restructurings and transaction services, but will mainly focus on:

Performing financial due diligence procedures relating to the sale and purchase of companies and businesses and identifying issues that may be of relevance and could have an impact on the transaction

Identifying and understanding the key business drivers and provide value to the client through our services and the deliverables we produce

You will be responsible for the day to day management of engagements and act as the main point of contact for clients in this process;

You will manage the preparation of deliverables including reports, presentations and discussions with the different stakeholders;

Steering and providing guidance to team members

Active contribution to business development (both internal and external) and thought leadership is expected and encouraged

Job requirements

To ensure that we find the best candidate for this position, we expect our future Senior Manager to have :

A Master’s degree in economics, engineering, business administration, or business economics

Between five to eight years of relevant professional experience in financial due diligence, corporate analysis or audit

Fluent in MS Office (especially with Excel and PowerPoint)

Financial analytical skills and good accounting knowledge are considered as a prerequisite as well as giving meaning to the numbers and translate this into a well-structured report

Ability to identify key operational performance drivers, cash flow forecasting, and flexibility to support clients with a broad array of issues

An entrepreneurial mindset and a hunger to be exposed to challenging projects

A drive to solve new issues in a practical and creative manner

Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a great team player

Fluency in Dutch and English

Eagerness to work on cross border assignments
