Job summary

Eight Advisory UK Limited in Amsterdam is seeking an ambitious Senior for our Transaction Services & Restructuring team. You will work with corporate clients and private equities, supporting due diligence, independent business reviews, and restructuring assignments, from initial client meeting to closing the deal.

You will analyze financial statements and business plans, summarize findings for the board, contribute to business development with an entrepreneurial mindset, and mentor junior team

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics, engineering, business administration, or business economics.
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or related fields.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Eligibility to work in the EU.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork abilities.

Transaction Services & Restructuring - Senior

We are currently looking for an ambitious and diligent individual to join our Transaction Services & Restructuring team in Amsterdam as a Senior. In this role, you will be working in direct contact with different stakeholders at corporate clients and private equities, providing well-structured advice. The assignments can be both in the context of an acquisition (due diligence, independent business reviews, etc.) or a restructuring in crisis.

You will be part of the team from the initial client meeting pitch to analyses and closing of the deal

You will execute analyses and identify issues and key drivers that may be of relevance and could have an impact on the transaction or restructuring

You will summarize your and the team’s findings on analyses of financial statements and business plans in a report to the board and key stakeholders

You will actively contribute to business development (both internal and external) with an entrepreneurial mindset

You will be steering and providing guidance to more junior team members

Job requirements

To ensure that we find the best candidate for this position, we expect our future Senior to have :

A Master’s degree in economics, engineering, business administration, or business economics

Between two to four years of relevant professional experience in Finance (audit, consulting or advisory, transaction services, corporate banking, corporate finance, accounting or controlling)

Financial analytical skills are considered as an asset

An entrepreneurial mindset and a hunger to be exposed to challenging projects

A drive to solve new issues in a practical and creative manner

Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a great team player

Fluency in Dutch and English

Eagerness to work on cross border assignments

Eligibility to work in the EU
