Job summary

Eight Advisory UK Limited is seeking a Manager to join its Transaction Services & Restructuring team in Amsterdam. You will work with senior experts on transformation, restructurings, and transaction services, focusing on financial due diligence and client value through deliverables.

You will manage engagements, prepare reports and presentations, and guide team members while contributing to business development and thought leadership on cross-border assignments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics, engineering, business administration, or business economics.
• Minimum four years of relevant professional experience in financial due diligence, corporate analysis or audit.
• Fluent in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Financial analytical skills and good accounting knowledge are considered as a prerequisite as well as giving meaning to the numbers and translate this into a well‑structured report.
• Ability to identify key operational performance drivers, cash flow forecasting, and flexibility to support clients with a broad array of issues.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and a hunger to be exposed to challenging projects.
• A drive to solve new issues in a practical and creative manner.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a great team player.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Eagerness to work on cross border assignments.
• Eligibility to work in the EU.

Responsibilities

• Performing financial due diligence procedures relating to the sale and purchase of companies and businesses and identifying issues that may be of relevance and could have an impact on the transaction.
• Identifying and understanding the key business drivers and provide value to the client through our services and the deliverables.
• You will be responsible for the day to day management of engagements and act as the main point of contact for clients in this process;
• You will manage the preparation of deliverables including reports, presentations and discussions with the different stakeholders;
• Steering and providing guidance to team members
• Active contribution to business development (both internal and external) and thought leadership is expected and encouraged
