Job summary
Arvato is seeking a Supervisor Traffic in Venlo to coordinate and optimize daily transport operations, manage planning, staffing, and ongoing continuity. You will lead a team, collaborate with carriers and internal stakeholders, and monitor KPI-driven performance, while driving efficiency.
The role requires experience in transport/logistics coordination, a supervisory mindset, strong Excel and SAP/ERP skills, and fluent English, with full-time availability for shifts.
Qualifications
- MBO/HBO working and thinking level.
- Experience in transport, traffic, or logistics coordination.
- Experience in a supervisory or coordinating role.
- Knowledge of Excel and ERP/TMS systems, preferably SAP.
- Good command of English.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Full-time availability and willingness to work shifts.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and optimize daily transport operations within the department.
- Responsible for daily planning, execution, staffing, and operational continuity.
- Lead daily meetings with team to review planning and priorities.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor transport flows and adjust planning as needed.
- Resolve escalations such as delays and shipment issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and costs.
