Job summary

Arvato in Venlo seeks a Supervisor Traffic to coordinate and optimize daily transport operations within the logistics department. You will lead a team of Traffic Employees, manage inbound/outbound shipments, monitor KPIs, and ensure service levels are met while collaborating with carriers and internal stakeholders.

You’ll work in a modern logistics environment with SAP and TMS tools. The role requires a shift-based dayshift, English proficiency, and a hands-on leadership style to resolve issues,

Qualifications

• MBO/HBO working and thinking level.
• Experience in transport, traffic, or logistics coordination.
• Experience in a supervisory or coordinating role.
• Knowledge of Excel and ERP/TMS systems, preferably SAP.
• Good command of the English language.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full-time availability and willingness to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily outbound transport planning and ensure KPIs and service levels are achieved.
• Lead daily meetings with your team to review planning and staffing needs.
• Manage and coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor transport flows and adjust planning throughout the day as needed.
• Resolve escalations such as delays, shipment issues, and other operational challenges.
• Monitor transport performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and costs.
• Coach and motivate your team to maintain high performance.
