Arvato in Venlo seeks a Supervisor Traffic to coordinate and optimize daily transport operations within the logistics department. You will lead a team of Traffic Employees, manage inbound/outbound shipments, monitor KPIs, and ensure service levels are met while collaborating with carriers and internal stakeholders.

You’ll work in a modern logistics environment with SAP and TMS tools. The role requires a shift-based dayshift, English proficiency, and a hands-on leadership style to resolve issues,

Qualifications

• MBO/HBO working and thinking level.
• Experience in transport, traffic, or logistics coordination.
• Experience in a supervisory or coordinating role.
• Knowledge of Excel and ERP/TMS systems, preferably SAP.
• Good command of the English language.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full-time availability and willingness to work shifts.

As a Supervisor Traffic in Venlo, you take responsibility for the daily coordination of all transport flows within our logistics operation. You ensure that inbound and outbound shipments run smoothly, KPIs and service level agreements are met, and carriers deliver according to plan.

You combine operational control with people leadership and stakeholder management. You make decisions on the floor, adjust planning when needed, resolve transport-related issues, and continuously improve transport performance and efficiency.

You’ll work in a modern logistics environment, supported by advanced systems such as SAP and transport management tools. Performance, structure, and collaboration are central to how we operate.

YOUR ROLE

As Supervisor Traffic, you coordinate and optimize the transport operations within your department. You are responsible for daily planning, execution, staffing, and operational continuity.

• Coordinating dailyoutbound transport planning and ensuring KPIs and service levels are achieved;
• Leading daily meetings with your team to review planning, priorities, and staffing needs;
• Managing and coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders;
• Monitoring transport flows and adjusting planning throughout the day when needed;
• Resolving escalations such as delays, shipment issues, and other operational challenges;
• Monitoring transport performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and costs;
• Coaching and motivating your team to maintain high performance.

You will lead a team of Traffic Employees and report to the Warehouse Manager. Together with Operations, Customer Support, and other internal stakeholders, you ensure smooth end-to-end logistics flows and alignment across departments.

You’ll work in a shifted dayshift structure.

We’re looking for a results-driven Supervisor who thrives in a dynamic warehouse environment.

• A gross monthly salary between €2.607 and €4.164 based on 40 hours, depending on your experience;
