Job summary

Arvato is seeking a results-driven Supervisor Traffic in Venlo to lead daily outbound transport planning, manage a team of Traffic Employees, and coordinate with carriers and internal stakeholders.

You will optimize transport flows, monitor KPIs, and ensure service levels are met while working in a modern logistics environment that uses SAP, ERP, and TMS systems. This full-time role requires shift work and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• MBO/HBO working and thinking level.
• Experience in transport, traffic, or logistics coordination.
• Experience in a supervisory or coordinating role.
• Knowledge of Excel and ERP/TMS systems, preferably SAP.
• Good command of the English language.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full-time availability and willingness to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily outbound transport planning and ensuring KPIs and service levels are achieved.
• Leading daily meetings with your team to review planning, priorities, and staffing needs.
• Managing and coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitoring transport flows and adjusting planning throughout the day when needed.
• Resolving escalations such as delays, shipment issues, and other operational challenges.
• Monitoring transport performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and costs.
• Coaching and motivating your team to maintain high performance.
