Job summary

Arvato in Venlo is seeking a logistics-focused Supervisor Traffic to lead and optimize transport operations. You will coordinate daily outbound planning, ensure KPI achievement, and manage a team of Traffic Employees under the Warehouse Manager. This role requires shift-work in a dynamic warehouse setting.

You’ll work with SAP and ERP/TMS tools, collaborate with carriers and internal stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency and costs while developing your team.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, traffic, or logistics coordination.
• Experience in a supervisory or coordinating role.
• Knowledge of Excel and ERP/TMS systems, preferably SAP.
• Good command of the English language.
• Full-time availability and willingness to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily outbound transport planning and ensuring KPIs and service levels are achieved.
• Leading daily meetings with your team to review planning, priorities, and staffing needs.
• Managing and coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitoring transport flows and adjusting planning throughout the day when needed.
• Resolving escalations such as delays, shipment issues, and other operational challenges.
• Monitoring transport performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and costs.
• Coaching and motivating your team to maintain high performance.
