Job summary

SGI, an engineering consultancy in the Netherlands, is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join its team on a permanent basis. The role is on-site with a technology company developing embedded software and connected systems, and you will report to the consultancy directly.

You will develop and maintain automated test frameworks, create automated tests for embedded software, and work closely with software developers to identify issues, improve CI/CD pipelines and overall testing processes

Qualifications

• Experience in test automation within embedded software environments.
• Programming experience with C and/or Python and/or Rust.
• Strong knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
• Understanding of embedded systems and software development.
• Experience with Git and version control.

Test Automation Engineer – Embedded Software

Employment: Permanent, Full-Time

We are supporting a leading engineering consultancy in the Netherlands that is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join its team on a permanent basis.

You will be employed directly by the consultancy and work on-site with one of its customers, a technology company developing embedded software and connected systems.

The role will focus on developing and maintaining automated testing solutions, improving software quality and supporting the development team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks.
• Create and execute automated tests for embedded software.
• Work closely with software developers to identify and resolve issues.
• Improve testing processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support integration, validation and regression testing.

Requirements:
