Job summary

NicheBytes is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to work across client projects in the Netherlands. You design, implement and maintain automated tests, helping teams deliver reliable software and contributing to scalable automation frameworks.

You will collaborate with developers and testers in Agile teams, explore new tools, and continuously improve CI/CD test integration. A growth mindset and strong communication are key to success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in test automation.
• Experience with at least one automation framework (Robot Framework, Cypress, Katalon, SpecFlow or Cucumber).
• Programming experience in Java, Python and/or C#.
• Knowledge of test automation architecture and the test automation pyramid.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication with developers, testers and colleagues.
• HBO or WO IT degree.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills. You can work well with developers, testers and other colleagues.
• HBO or WO degree with a strong IT part.
• Good Dutch and good English.
• You don’t need to know every framework. Strong automation basics and the wish to keep learning matter most.
