Job summary

SmartSD, a leading distributor of video surveillance and intrusion systems, is seeking an enthusiastic support adviser in the Breda region. You will advise customers by phone, handle technical questions, and support Sales Managers with product inquiries.

Tasks and Responsibilities

In this varied and independent role, you will be responsible for advising, supporting, and informing customers in the fields of intrusion detection and video surveillance. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Advising, assisting, and supporting customers by telephone with technical questions and issues.
• Supporting the Sales Managers by answering customers’ technical questions.
• Sharing information and knowledge about new developments and trends in the market.

Your Profile

• You are a positive and motivated team player who enjoys working collaboratively to continuously improve our customer support.
• You are eager to learn and explore new technologies. Through training provided by our suppliers and knowledge-sharing with your colleagues, you are keen to deepen your technical knowledge of brands such as Dahua, Hikvision, and Ajax, covering intrusion detection, video surveillance, and video intercom systems.
• You have a basic technical understanding of network environments.
• You have good verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• You are customer-focused and quality-oriented. You have strong interpersonal and empathetic skills, enabling you to understand customers’ needs and provide them with the most appropriate solutions.
