Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in the Netherlands is seeking a proactive Junior/Medior Sales Developer to drive strategic growth across defense and energy clients. You will be a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, shaping engineering solutions and closing high‑value deals with technical insight and commercial acumen.

You will own the full sales cycle, visit customers on-site, and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure value delivery.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of B2B sales experience with engineering, R&D or technology-driven customers.
Proven ability to translate complex tech challenges into business value.
Experience with prospecting, cold calling and closing high-value deals.

Responsibilities

Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing high-value contracts.
Visit customers regularly to understand technical challenges and position Capgemini Engineering as a partner.
Match customer demands with Capgemini experts for the right fit.
Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities with existing and new customers.
Collaborate with delivery leads to ensure smooth project execution and satisfaction.
Maintain a healthy pipeline with accurate forecasting reported to leadership.
Represent Capgemini Engineering at industry events to boost visibility.
