Job summary

WeTravel is seeking an experienced leader to head the Solutions Engineering team within the Customer Experience organization in Amsterdam. You will own end-to-end technical engagements, design integrations, and grow a small team of Sales Engineers and Technical Account Managers.

You will partner with Sales, Product, Onboarding, and Engineering to align customer needs with the product roadmap, while building scalable processes for rapid growth and high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in solutions engineering or related customer-facing technical roles.
• Experience reading API docs, troubleshooting integrations, and designing data flows between systems.
• At least 5 years managing or leading a technical or customer-facing team.
• Comfortable leading technical discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, solution design, and demos for high-value prospects and existing customers.
• Provide hands-on support across integrations including Google Analytics, Zapier, QuickBooks, public APIs, webhooks, and complex inventory setups.
• Act as an escalation point for senior technical issues with a clear prioritisation framework for the team.
• Manage and develop a small team of Sales Engineers and Technical Account Managers.
