Job summary

WeTravel is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to lead critical booking management initiatives in Amsterdam, covering checkout, order management, tax handling, and traveler self-service. The role requires 7+ years in product engineering and deep experience with high-scale commerce systems.

You will own end‑to‑end booking projects, collaborate across Product and Customer teams, and drive reliability for booking and order platforms while elevating engineering practices at WeTravel.

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years of product engineering experience in high-scale commerce systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead booking projects end-to-end: discovery with Product and Customer teams, solution design, build, rollout, monitoring, and incident response.
• Partner with the Product team to gain insight into organizer and traveler challenges, building booking experiences that convert and delight.
• Own the reliability of our booking and order management systems
• Contribute to WeTravel's engineering practices and excellence.
