Job summary

Swapfiets is seeking a Talent Acquisition intern to join our team in Amsterdam. You will support the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting jobs to hiring, and help shape the intern program and candidate experience.

You’ll source candidates via LinkedIn and job boards, screen applications, coordinate interviews, and collaborate with hiring teams to attract top talent. This paid internship offers 40 hours a week for six months, with learning programs from our L&D department.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours) for 6 months.
• Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Fluent in English; Amsterdam area resident or willing to commute.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end recruitment from posting to hiring.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, and internal databases.
• Screen applications and coordinate interviews.
• Contribute to intern programs and candidate experience activities.
• Suggest ideas to improve recruitment tools and processes.
• Help transition and optimize recruitment platforms for better UX.
• Collaborate with hiring teams to understand role requirements.

As a Talent Acquisition intern you will be part of our Talent Acquisition team; the team responsible for Recruiting employees, employee experience, and performance management.

How you pedal us forward:

• Supporting the Talent Acquisition team in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to hiring;
• Assisting with sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, and internal databases;
• Screening applications and coordinating interview processes, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates;
• Contributing to talent engagement initiatives, including intern programs and candidate experience activities;
• Contributing ideas to improve recruitment strategies, tools, and processes;
• Supporting the transition and optimization of recruitment tools and people-related platforms to enhance user experience;
• Partnering with hiring teams to understand role requirements and attract top talent;

The gear you need:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field;
• Available to work full-time (40 hours);
• Available to work for a period of 6 months;
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities;
• Proactive, creative, and comfortable thinking outside the box to attract and engage talent;
• Fluent in English (written and spoken);
• Living in the Amsterdam area or willing to commute (please note that Swapfiets does not offer travel compensation for interns);
• Affinity and/or experience with Recruitment or Talent acquisition is a plus;
• Eager to learn, and ready to take ownership in a dynamic environment!
