Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s Surgery franchise seeks a Sales Consultant Surgery for the Southern Netherlands. You will grow as a trusted commercial partner to healthcare professionals, learning our surgical technologies, understanding customer needs and creating demand with compelling clinical and business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a medical, paramedical, life-sciences, technical, commercial, business or comparable field.
• Strong interest in consultative sales and a field-based medical devices career.
• Previous oncology, obesity or hospital sales experience not required; internships or clinical exposure welcome.
• Curious and quick to learn, able to discuss technical topics after training.
• Proactive, resilient and able to work independently in the field.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with a customer-centric mindset.
• Fluent Dutch and strong English, both spoken and written.
• Valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with surgeons, nurses and hospital staff.
• Learn clinical applications and clearly communicate value to customers.
• Identify customer needs and opportunities to drive sales growth.
• Plan and deliver product demonstrations and trainings in hospital environments.
• Contribute to account plans and value-based selling projects.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Strategic Accounts.
• Use market insights to prioritise activities and improve performance.
• Participate in congresses, user meetings and customer events.
• Provide responsive customer support in a compliant way.
• Work in line with Johnson & Johnson policies and Healthcare Compliance.
