Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Sales Consultant Surgery for the Southern Netherlands. You will build relationships with surgeons and hospital teams, learn our surgical devices, and translate clinical value into customer demand.

You will plan demonstrations, deliver trainings, and contribute to strategic plans while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role includes base pay plus incentive potential and requires regular travel across the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in medical, paramedical, life sciences, technical, commercial, business or comparable field.
• Strong interest in consultative sales and a clear motivation to build a field-based commercial career in medical devices.
• Fluent Dutch and strong English, both spoken and written.
• Valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
• Based in, or willing to operate across, the relevant Netherlands territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, operating-room teams and other hospital stakeholders.
• Learn the clinical application and value of our medical devices, then communicate this clearly and credibly to customers.
• Support sales growth by identifying customer needs, opportunities and potential new accounts within your territory.
• Plan and deliver product demonstrations, hands-on training and educational sessions in hospital environments.
• Contribute to account plans and value-based selling projects that demonstrate both clinical and economic value.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Business Development and Strategic Account colleagues.
• Use market and customer insights to adapt activities, prioritize opportunities and improve commercial performance.
• Participate in congresses, user meetings and customer events.
• Provide responsive customer support and handle questions or issues in a professional and compliant way.
• Work in line with Johnson & Johnson policies and Healthcare Compliance requirements.
