New Balance is seeking a Store Associate in Roermond to engage customers, educate them about products and deliver an exciting, informative shopping experience. You will act as a brand ambassador, drive sales and help teammates succeed.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, supporting management, coaching colleagues, and ensuring high standards in service, safety and store presentation across our European network.

Qualifications

• Team player with customer service skills.
• Retail experience desirable or proven team experience.
• Passion for retail and sales.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic math and retail operations.
• Understanding of POS register systems.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Open and close the store following the correct company procedures
• Encourage continuous improvement through ongoing feedback
• Support the Store Management team on overall store and back of house standards
• Assist in training and coaching Associates
• To achieve personal KPIs and contribute to overall store performance
• Deliver total customer satisfaction to every customer, following the end-to-end customer journey - from entering the store to leaving the store
• Help to ensure the store remains commercial as possible following company guidelines
• Adhere to company's policies and procedures
• Responsible for maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards in store
• Perform other duties that as required from the management team

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

• Team Player
• Previous retail experience desirable or proven experience in a team environment
• Demonstrate customer service skills
• A passion for retail and sales
• Desire to learn
• Ability to perform basic maths and general retail operational processes
• Understanding of POS register systems
• Effective communication skills
• Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
