Job summary

Stora Enso is seeking a People & Culture Partner to act as trusted HR partner for a diverse portfolio of businesses within BU Western Europe. You will support approximately 120 employees, coach managers, and drive performance, talent development and change initiatives across several locations.

The role balances strategic advisory work with hands-on HR operations, including labour legislation compliance, data analytics, and systems usage (Workday and AFAS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent thinking and working level.
• Several years as HRBP/People & Culture Partner or similar advisory role.
• Experience in an international, matrix organisation with multiple units.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience with absenteeism, performance, employee relations and change management.
• Experience using Workday and AFAS for HR data and processes.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication; stakeholder management mindset.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted People & Culture partner for managers and employees across designated business areas.
• Coach managers on performance, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Support absenteeism management and adherence to Dutch employment law.
• Facilitate annual performance cycles, objective setting and talent discussions.
• Partner on organisational changes, workforce planning, and change management.
• Support integration of Stora Enso culture, values, and leadership behaviours.
• Assist recruitment, onboarding, mobility, learning and succession planning.
• Utilise HR data/analytics to provide actionable insights for decisions.
• Ensure high-quality data in HR systems and drive process improvements.
• Contribute to BU Western Europe People & Culture projects and initiatives.
