Job summary

Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to join our commercial team. You will work with the Director of Sales to craft and execute strategies that drive profitability and guest satisfaction in a luxury setting.

You’ll build relationships with key clients, participate in industry events, and monitor market trends, delivering high-impact sales activities that elevate the hotel's position in the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in hospitality or related field.
• Experience in luxury hospitality/hotel sales preferred.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Solicits new business for the hotel in Europe (corporate, MICE, entertainment, government).
• Provides market intelligence to the Director of Sales from face-to-face calls and calls.
• Implements proactive sales action plans per the business plan.
• Develops relationships with key clients to drive business and market share.
• Hosts familiarization stays, site inspections, and sales presentations.
