Job summary

Hotelschool The Hague seeks a Manager Education & Research Support to lead the Education & Research Support department and advise senior management. You will guide strategic policy for education and research, build external networks and represent the university in European and international policy arenas.

You will drive the department's multi-year plans, budgets, and professional development, while ensuring quality assurance, accreditation and alignment with institutional strategies and external

Qualifications

• Broad theoretical knowledge relevant to higher education, research and the areas of responsibility of Education & Research Support.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with ability to coach and develop professionals.
• Proven experience with European programmes and external funding opportunities.
• Experience developing and managing multi-year plans, budgets, and priorities.
• Excellent networking and relationship management skills for external representation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic policy for education and research.
• Advise the Board of Directors and management on developments with organisation-wide impact.
• Monitor national, European and international developments and translate into strategic opportunities.
• Position Hotelschool The Hague in relevant external networks and develop partnerships.
• Initiate and manage subsidy opportunities and external funding for education and research.
• Lead the E&RS department, including its multi-year plan, budget and staff development.
• Oversee processes, quality management and compliance with legislation and regulations.
