Zusammenfassung

Virtuagym is seeking a Financial Controller to safeguard financial reporting integrity and drive continuous improvement. You will partner with the CFO and finance team to strengthen controls, support tax and revenue processes, and shape the internal control environment as the business scales.

This role combines hands-on accounting with strategic ownership in a fast-moving, remote-friendly setting. We value an analytic, entrepreneurial mindset and a go-getter attitude.

Qualifikationen

• Strong foundation in financial control and accounting principles.
• Experience with tax (VAT/ICP, CIT) and revenue processes.
• Proven ability to improve controls and reporting.
• Comfortable working with data and various ERP systems.
• Fluent in English, Dutch is a big plus.

Aufgaben

• Strengthen and improve internal controls to ensure accurate financial data.
• Support tax compliance and statutory filings with advisors.
• Own and improve AR and revenue control, including reconciliations.
• Run key reconciliations and balance sheet substantiation.
• Contribute to monthly close and year-end audit processes.
• Identify gaps and drive automation across systems.
